CTRL is a company focused on helping businesses and organizations grow through strategy, marketing, operations, and execution.
Our work is fast-paced, collaborative, and constantly evolving. From launching marketing campaigns and supporting growing businesses to developing community initiatives and bringing new ideas to life, no two days are ever the same.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to help turn ideas into action.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who is highly organized, creative, proactive, and excited to wear multiple hats.
You'll work directly with the owner to help move projects forward across operations, marketing, business development, and day-to-day execution.
On any given week, you might be designing social media graphics in Canva, writing blog content, researching new business opportunities, coordinating meetings, updating websites, building presentations, preparing marketing materials, reaching out to prospective clients, or helping bring an entirely new business idea to life.
If you enjoy variety, solving problems, taking ownership, and turning ideas into action, you'll thrive in this role.
How We Work
We believe great work comes from curiosity, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
We value people who ask questions, take initiative, communicate openly, and genuinely care about doing great work. We don't expect anyone to know everything, but we do value resourcefulness, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to seek clarity when needed.
We embrace technology, including AI, to work smarter—not to replace thoughtful work. The best results come from combining modern tools with creativity, sound judgment, and genuine human insight.

What Success Looks Like
This role is ideal for someone who's looking to become an integral part of a growing company. As our projects continue to expand, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibility and grow alongside the business.
While we're looking for someone who's excited to invest in learning our business and becoming a key part of the team, we're equally committed to ensuring it's the right fit for both sides.
Schedule & Location
This is a hybrid role.
Most work can be completed independently throughout the week with a flexible schedule.
We'll typically meet in person on Sundays to review priorities, collaborate on projects, brainstorm ideas, and plan for the week ahead. Additional virtual check-ins may be scheduled as needed throughout the week.
Because regular in-person collaboration is an important part of this role, applicants should be based in the Greater Toronto Area and able to reliably travel to Vaughan for weekly meetings.
Why Join Us?
You'll work directly with the owner and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects and business functions.
This isn't a role where you'll be assigned the same tasks every day. You'll help solve problems, improve systems, contribute ideas, and see your work make a real impact across meaningful projects.
If you're someone who enjoys learning, taking initiative, and helping build exciting ideas from the ground up, we'd love to hear from you.
As you grow into the role, you'll have opportunities to take ownership of projects, contribute to business development efforts, and be recognized for helping drive the company's growth.
Compensation and Employment Details
This role is paid hourly at $22-$27/hour, based on experience.
As the role evolves, there may also be opportunities to earn performance-based bonuses tied to business development, project success, or company growth.
This position will begin as an independent contractor role. As the company continues to grow, there may be opportunities for the role to evolve based on business needs and mutual fit.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
