EVENT SERVER

We are looking for an event server to join our team. If you are interested in hospitality, learning more about event planning, creating memorable experiences with attentive service, product knowledge, fun and passion with one of Canada’s fastest growing hospitality groups – this is the role for you!

Understanding of Audio-Visual technology

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Involvement in several types of service including breakfasts, lunches, coffee breaks, plated dinners and buffet dinners
Executing daily work activities according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
Anticipating guests’ needs; acknowledge and respond promptly to guest requests
Working as part of a team and communicating with your colleagues to ensure a smooth event
Clearing tables as needed throughout the event
Setting up and tearing down of meetings, functions, receptions, including moving tables and chairs
Working with groups from 2 to 200 guests
Serving all guests with a high level of service and in a timely fashion
Cleaning up after events including removal of décor, taking down the buffet, vacuuming, removing dirty dishware, sanitizing tables
Other duties as assigned

RENUMERATION:

Hourly wage
Shares in event gratuities
