Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tandoori Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine, particularly in preparing authentic tandoori dishes, and possess excellent leadership and food safety skills. This role involves overseeing the preparation of traditional tandoori foods and ensuring the highest standards of quality and hospitality are maintained. The Tandoori Chef will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic tandoori dishes with precision, ensuring flavor authenticity and presentation standards.

providing training, guidance, and support to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Coordinate with restaurant management to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients specific to Indian cuisine, placing orders as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, adhering to health codes and safety protocols.
Assist in menu development by suggesting new dishes based on culinary trends and customer preferences.
Serve as a role model for team management, fostering a positive work environment focused on teamwork and hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Indian cuisine, particularly in preparing tandoori dishes.
Supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing kitchen teams or restaurant staff.
Knowledge of restaurant management practices and hospitality standards.
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for Indian cuisine and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Pay: $3,750.00-$4,250.00 per month
