Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable individual to join our team as a shingler. This role involves performing a variety of construction and handyman tasks, requiring hands-on expertise roofing, use of hand tools, and general qaterproofing. The ideal candidate will be capable of heavy lifting, and executing precise repairs and installations. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to apply their technical skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to diverse projects. Responsibilities

Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform carpentry, repairs, and installations.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate execution.
Conduct caulking, sealing, and weatherproofing tasks to maintain building integrity.
Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
Assist with construction projects, including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
Conduct routine maintenance and handyman services across various sites.
Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet quality standards.

Experience

Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or handyman work is highly preferred.
Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools required.
Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous.
Knowledge of caulking techniques and weatherproofing methods is a plus.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in physically demanding environments.
Previous experience in construction or related fields will be considered an asset for success in this role.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
