We are hiring Machine Operator in Vaughan, ON.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating welding equipment and producing high-quality parts according to customer specifications, standardized work instructions, and production requirements. The successful candidate will work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards, completing required documentation, and contributing effectively to a team environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production requirements.
- Follow customer weld specifications, work instructions, and weld acceptance criteria.
- Complete required production checks, including OK to Run, Red Herring, First Off, and Last Off procedures.
- Ensure only quality and conforming parts are passed to the next operation.
- Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately and on time.
- Identify, report, and escalate quality issues or potential nonconformances to the Tech Lead.
- Meet production targets and maintain a minimum 90% efficiency on the assigned production cell.
- Work effectively as part of a team and participate in meetings, cross-training, job rotation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Follow all company Health & Safety, Quality, Environmental, 5S, and workplace policies and immediately report hazards or incidents.
- Properly wear and maintain all required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, long-sleeve uniform, and safety footwear.
REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Minimum 6–12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous welding or production experience is an asset.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow standardized work instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is performed 100% on the manufacturing plant floor.
- Required to wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment.
- Ability to remain attentive and focused while performing repetitive production and welding tasks.
- Ability to stand and move around the production area for the duration of the shift.
- Must be willing to work in accordance with the plant's assigned shift schedule and operational requirements.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday: Day, afternoon and Night shift
