As an Account Executive , you will sell freight brokerage services — arranging B2B transportation of goods across North America — to shipping managers and business owners at companies that ship one skid of product or more. You will primarily be selling to Shipping Managers and Business Owners. This role is approximately 90% new business development and 10% account management in Year 1. Leads are almost entirely self-sourced through cold outreach, with limited warm leads supplied from past employees. This is a growth hire adding sales capacity, reporting directly to the Managing Partner. The base salary is $65,000 – $75,000 CAD, plus uncapped commissions.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- Year 1 OTE: not fixed — the $65,000–$75,000 CAD draw acts as a guaranteed earnings floor while you build your book; full productivity typically takes 1–6 months

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A solid B2B sales background — years of experience are flexible, from early-stage through mid-level; candidates who have lived the ups and downs of a sales career are encouraged to apply
- B2B, phone-based cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation experience — a genuine hunter who can build a territory from scratch
- Industry experience in logistics, freight, or trucking is not required and not expected for this role
- Post-secondary education is not required; a business degree is an asset but not a factor
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation required, for training and occasional in-person office days
- French language ability is a nice-to-have, not required
- Well-written English is required for professional customer correspondence

As you build a base of customers over time, your time gradually shifts from prospecting toward account management and operations.
