Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for meal preparation and ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and marinating as needed.
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure high-quality food handling.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Cuisinier(ère) de ligne / Préposé(e) à la préparation des aliments passionné(e) et dévoué(e) pour se joindre à notre équipe culinaire.
Dans ce poste, vous serez responsable de la préparation des repas et veillerez au bon déroulement des opérations en cuisine. La personne idéale possède de l’expérience dans le domaine de la restauration et une bonne connaissance des normes de salubrité alimentaire. Responsabilités :

Préparer les ingrédients nécessaires à la cuisson (laver, couper, mariner, etc.).
Cuisiner les plats selon les recettes et les standards de présentation établis.
Garder les postes de travail et les équipements propres et bien organisés.
Respecter rigoureusement les règles d’hygiène et de salubrité alimentaire.
Participer à la gestion des inventaires en surveillant les quantités disponibles et en signalant les manques.
Travailler en équipe pour assurer un service rapide et efficace, surtout durant les périodes de pointe.
Contribuer à la formation des nouveaux employés sur les techniques de cuisson et les consignes de sécurité.

Exigences :

Expérience préalable en cuisine ou dans un environnement de restauration (un atout).
Connaissances des techniques de préparation des aliments et des normes de salubrité essentielles.
Capacité à travailler efficacement sous pression tout en gardant le souci du détail.
Bon esprit d’équipe et aptitudes en communication.
Disponibilité pour travailler sur différents quarts, y compris les soirs et les fins de semaine.
Passion pour la cuisine et désir d’apprendre et de progresser dans le domaine culinaire.
