Welcome Home Construction is a growing construction company specializing in custom homes, luxury renovations, commercial construction, multi-unit residential developments, and self-performed construction services.
We're looking for more than a licensed plumber—we're looking for someone to help build our plumbing division.

About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for plumbing installations across residential, commercial, and multi-unit construction projects.
You'll complete rough-in and finish plumbing, underground services, water distribution, drainage, venting, fixture installation, and system testing while coordinating closely with project managers, site supervisors, homeowners, clients, inspectors, and other trades.
As our company continues to grow, you'll also have the opportunity to mentor apprentices and help develop our in-house plumbing division.
No two projects are exactly the same. You'll work on custom homes, luxury renovations, commercial fit-outs, restaurants, medical facilities, tenant improvements, and multi-unit developments.
What You'll Be DoingPlumbing Construction
- Complete underground, rough-in, and finish plumbing installations.
- Install sanitary, storm, venting, domestic water, and fixture systems.
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Install plumbing systems in accordance with the Ontario Building Code and manufacturer specifications.
- Coordinate plumbing installations with HVAC, electrical, framing, concrete, drywall, and finishing trades.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Building Code and applicable plumbing regulations.
- Perform testing and inspections before walls are closed.
- Verify installations before municipal inspections.
- Identify and resolve issues before they affect project schedules or quality.
- Maintain organized documentation and material requirements.
Leadership & Growth
- Work directly with company leadership to help build our plumbing division.
- Mentor apprentices and junior plumbers as the division grows.
- Help improve field processes, quality standards, and efficiency.
- Promote a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

QualificationsRequired
- Valid Ontario 306A Plumber Certificate of Qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of residential and commercial plumbing experience.
- Experience with new construction, renovations, additions, and commercial projects.
- Experience completing underground, rough-in, finish plumbing, and final fixture installation.
- Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code (Plumbing).
- Experience preparing projects for municipal inspections.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings and specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence with reliable transportation.
Strong Assets
Experience with one or more of the following:
- G1 Gas Technician Licence
- Multi-unit residential construction
- Custom homes
